New Year Resolutions

Happy New Year everyone! I hope 2018 gives you everything you want and more!

I know everyone makes New Years resolutions, I always have done but they are often too unrealistic and get broken, so this year I wanted to make some that I can count on and that I can (hopefully) stick to! Continue reading “New Year Resolutions”

How I edit my photos

Taking photos is a passion of mine, after I’ve taken my photos I like to get home and sort through them and use editing software to enhance them.

As you can probably tell from my Instagram feed (above!), I like to have themes for every 9 photos, my favourite app to create this is VSCO Cam.

VSCO is free to download in the app store and is definitely worth the buy.

The settings I use on a regular basis are;

Preset – A5 +12
Exposure – +1.1
Contrast – +1.4

It obviously depends on the photo and the amount of each preset and edit I want on my images, but I usually use trial and error with my editing until I find one that fits my style (at the time!). The ones above were taken in Spain during the summer so the lighting was a real help for a quick edit!

What editing software do you use? I’d love to hear your suggestions for which ones would be good to try next!

Photoset: F.R.I.E.N.D.S Fest

Could I BE more excited?!

To watch the legendary TV show F.R.I.E.N.D.S is always a good idea, so when Comedy Central announced they would be bringing back FRIENDSFEST for the third year I was on their website faster than you could say the word phalange. Continue reading “Photoset: F.R.I.E.N.D.S Fest”

Life Print Photo Printer

This is a review that I’ve wanted to do for quite a while, I was given this printer for Christmas and it’s one of the best gifts I have ever been given, now that I have fully tested it I know it’s worthy of a review.

Life print making photos special again”

Life print allows you to not only print out your photos from your phone but also your videos, yes you read that correctly, you can PRINT VIDEOS! With its unique augmented reality you can print out hyperphotos and make your images come to life. (It’s like we’re in Harry Potter or something…)

So what are the specs for the Life Print Printer?

The printer comes in at a hefty price of £134.95 and for 110 sheets of the refill paper it’s £49.95, however if you think of it, it’s a bluetooth printer so they aren’t cheap, but this is amazing for the value.

Theres an app that needs to be downloaded onto your phone that has a photo editor on it so you can make your images as personalised as you want them to be, I use mine to go into scrapbooks so I personalise them to remember the date they were taken.

This printer is a good alternative to having a polaroid type of camera where you get your photos instantly, it’s perfect for photography lovers and the people who love to have a keepsake.

If you like the look and sound of this printer, you can find it here

So quite a while ago I put a post up about being a ‘papergangster‘ and recently I was asked why I never made that into a series of unboxing Papergang orders, so I decided that I would do exactly that. Every month I will share with you all the most recent box that I have been sent by Ohh Deer. Continue reading “Papergang Box No. 16 Unboxing Review”

11 things you didn’t know about Rogue One

With Rogue One’s still being such a talked about film we thought it was about time to let you in on some secrets from the film that you just NEED to watch out for in the release.

1 – Many of the new Storm Trooper helmets in Rogue One have been seen before in the Poe Dameron comic books.

2 – Blue milk (which appears to heal the injured) is first seen in the galaxy being endured by Luke Skywalker in A New Hope (which makes sense if it’s the sequel to Rogue One).

3 – There was a surprise cameo in Rogue One by Rian Johnson the director of the much anticipated Star Wars episode 8 The Last Jedi. Rian Johnson and his assistant can be seen standing next to the planet destroying Death Star.

4 – The animated Rebels series has been spotted in a few scenes of Rogue One, mainly in the final battle you can spot the Rebels ship ‘Ghost’ by its unique set of lights at the rear of the ship.

5 – Make sure you look out for one of the most famous lines in the Star Wars universe ‘I have a bad feeling about this’ which was originally said by Han Solo but has since been recreated by K-2SO (also said by Obi-Wan, Anakin Skywalker, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and C3PO in the originals).

6 – The inside shots of the Rogue One squad running through the Empire Base was shot in Canary Wharf tube station! So all you film fanatics can look out for that when you’re next on the tube.

9 – At the end of Rogue One we see the transition into A New Hope, as Princess Leia is given the plans for the Death Star – which is right before the Empire captures Leia on Tantive IV.

10 – The prop department definitely had fun during the making of Rogue One, but did you notice the extra prop of a toy Storm Trooper? It’s held by a Death Trooper as they search Erso Farm which was left behind by Jyn.
