Last minute gifts for hosts
Picture it, you’ve got all of your Christmas shopping done, it’s all wrapped and you’re feeling glorious about it all, you’re sitting on the sofa planning which outfit will look nice for Christmas Day as well as have enough room for the amount of food you’re planning on eating. When suddenly you realise you haven’t got your host a small gift to say thank you…
Okay, now story time is over let’s get onto the quick ideas to get you off the hook so you can get back to that sofa.
First up, people always love flowers, in Tesco this year they have some gorgeous Christmas bouquets, some even with a nutcracker on a stick decoration, very cute.
Next you can always find gift sets in shops at all times of the year, from wine and a glass, to miniature bottles of whisky, have a quick scout around the end of the drinks aisle and you’ll find some!
And whether you find them tacky or cute, singing Christmas toys are a must in any household! (And you can never have too many…)
I hope that gives you some inspiration for quick gifts! Let me know what you like to take!

Favourite Blogmas bloggers of 2017
Not only have I been doing blogmas for this month, I’ve been reading some blogmas posts from bloggers too. In a way it’s been a way of inspiration for me to carry on and get through blogmas.
So with just four days left to go, I thought it would be the perfect time to share with you a list of people’s blogs I’ve been loving.
First up we have Loula Belle Rose, I love reading Lauren’s blog in the evenings with a cuppa, it’s definitely worth catching up on some posts from the month!
Next is Cheryl Wong, Cheryl and I started following each other on Twitter at the end of November, so I checked out her blog in December and have loved reading some updates, from beauty to travel and everything in-between she’s worth a follow!
Abby Clare, is next. I found her blog by using the Twitter to search for #blogmas, we share some of the same loves, from yankee candles to books. When reading her blogs it’s like I’m talking to a friend, go check her out!
Next is Rand0mg4l (also known as Hannah) she’s done intermittent blogmas posts and I think she’s done what she wants and done it well, we’ve had some very similar posts go up which I didn’t realise as I discovered her a few days ago when writing for this post, but you should have a wonder over to her blog.
Lastly is Lifestyle, Beauty and Fashion blogger It’s Bethan’s Blog, I like her blogs as she’s honest and won’t just tell you what she thinks you should hear.

The best Christmas jumpers of 2017
I have two Christmas jumpers, one very cute one with a penguin on it and one that is of a Star Wars scene that my boyfriend bought for himself without realising the pattern was made out of tiny little hearts…
But you can never have too many jumpers right? Here are seven of my favourite ones from this year;
Primark men – it’s cute and can totally be styled out to be an oversized women’s one if you wanted!
Asda George – Everyone loves a good pun so this one is perfect for some extra festive cheer!
Asos – It’s cheeky but it’s cute!
Missguided – Everyone loves some destiny’s child so why not get this festive jumper to keep it in your head all day!
Boohoo – This is probably the tackiest because of the pom poms but I LOVE IT!
Boohoo – one that would be perfect for some people in my family!
Boohoo – finally, the cute one. I love this gingerbread jumper so much I want to add it to my collection.
What do you look for in a Christmas jumper? Let me know in the comments below!

Christmas Nail Art
Christmas nail art is a fun thing to do throughout December, whether you go full Christmas Santas and all or if you stay to festive sparkle, there are plenty of ways to get your nails ready for the festive season.
I like to use a mixture of Barry M and Ciaté London nail varnishes but realistically if you invest in a good base coat and top coat then you can use any nail varnish you want (no matter what the price is).
There are so many types of designs you can go for, including cheating and going for fake nails and nail wraps.
Here are my favourite 5 nail designs from Pinterest that I will be using on myself and my family this Christmas.
If you like these, head over to my Pinterest for more! And suggest some others down below!

Best Christmas films
So if you’ve already seen my Christmas Tag blog you’ll know that my favourite Christmas film is Elf, but that’s not all, oh no, that is not all (little Cat in the Hat quote for you there…).
A night out with Beauty and the Beast…
On the 9th of December the Royal Albert Hall played host to the Philharmonia Orchestra
with Disney in Concert: Beauty and the Beast.
It was breathtaking. From the minute the orchestra filled the stage for the European premiere of the film as a live concert experience the audience was transfixed on them.
The Philharmonia were skilfully conducted by David Firman and were joined on stage by the English Chamber Choir.
Hearing the live orchestra play the introduction music for Beauty and the Beast truly lived up to the magic of Disney.
The original singing and talking parts of the film were kept but the backing to it and the songs were performed live by the orchestra. Including the most popular ones ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and ‘Be Our Guest’.
The whole night was split in two with an interval at the perfect point in the film and it gave the night a more theatrical feel to it.
To the end of the show the Philharmonia Orchestra accompanied the final track of the film, ‘How Does a Moment Last Forever’ sung by the ever talented Celine Dion, while the end slides were rolling.
It was a magical night and I can only hope that the Royal Albert Hall will continue to do these more diverse nights in their upcoming events calendar.

The Christmas Tag
I blooming love a Q&A, you’ll know that if you’ve seen my Disney Tag. So when I saw the Christmas tag challenge I just had to do it! (I know it should really be a youtube video but I’m gonna do the blog anyway.)
1. Favourite Christmas Movie?
It’s got to be Elf, I do love Love Actually and The Holiday but for me Elf is one I can watch a billion times and quote every line and still be interested in it.
2. Are you on the Naughty list or the Nice list?
I’m 100% on the nice list this year (at least I hope!)
3. Show us an embarrassing Christmas photo.
I don’t really have any embarrassing Christmas photo’s but here’s one of me and my dad in our accidental matching jumpers. p.s. yes those are the Grinch Pj leggings…
4. Have you ever had a white Christmas?
Not that I remember, it’s usually right before Christmas or right afterwards.
5. Do you start your Christmas shopping on Black Friday or wait until the last minute?
I like to start my shopping early because if I see something that would be perfect for someone I don’t want to risk forgetting or it running out of stock.
6. If you could be in any Christmas movie what would it be?
I’d be in the Nativity, I’d love to meet Mr Poppy! “You’re through to the next round!” “What next round?!” “The Hollywood Round!”
7. Name all of Santa’s reindeer.
Dancer, Prancer, Rudolph, Blitzen, Comet, Donner, Cupid, Dasher and Vixen (mic drop.)
8. When does your family put up your Christmas tree and who decorates it?
Traditionally it would be on Christmas eve (total bah humbug on my parents behalf…) but since going to uni I’ve loved putting it up at the beginning of December.
My brothers and I would decorate it but our mum would magically make it better over night.
9. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
This year we have a real one at the front of the house and a fake one inside.
10. Peeking at gifts or be surprised?
Be surprised! Although I used to go downstairs on Christmas morning and suss out which were my presents or not.
11. Show us your ugly Christmas sweater if you have one.
Go back to answer 3 for this!
12. If you could be under the mistletoe with anyone who would it be?
My boyfriend Nathan (*cringe*)
13. Does your family have a special holiday tradition?
Going out to see the Christmas lights on the houses in the neighbourhood and drinking Mulled wine on Christmas Eve!
14. Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?
I am quite creative with wrapping presents so I definitely take pride in it and find the best wrapping paper for the year – this year I’ve chosen to use paper from Paperchase, it has Dinosaurs with Christmas hats on!
15. Have you ever gone Christmas caroling?
Once, as a joke with my family to thank our neighbours for welcoming us to the neighbourhood.
16. What tops your tree?
A Christmas fairy, it’s pale blue with feathers as it’s skirt.
17. Do you make New Years Resolutions? Do you stick to them?
I do make them and I try my hardest to stick to them each year.
18. You have been granted one Christmas wish…what will it be?
I wish for the happiness of my family and friends.
